Summary

The allocation-based funding model remains largely unchanged for the 2020-2022 funding cycle. Eligible countries will receive communication on their allocation amount in December 2019 and will be able to access new funding over the 2020-2022 period. However, some elements of the funding model have been updated based on lessons learned during the 2017-2019 cycle. These refinements are designed to improve the impact of Global Fund resources.
