Summary

Global climate change exacerbated by human energy use threatens to have a profound impact on human health, including from infectious diseases. Particularly vulnerable
populations such as the immunocompromised, including persons with HIV infection. This article examines the impact of climate change on persons living with HIV based on a presentation by Robert T. Schooley, MD, at the IAS-USA continuing education programme held in Berkeley in May 2017.
